Preliminary Study on Monkey Cave’s Rock Art in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara

The Monkey Cave site is one of the prehistoric cave that contains various data. The site is located in Alak, Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. This research seeks to determine the variation of rock art in Monkey Cave. The methods used include field observations and primary data collection. Analysis conducted with descriptive analysis by applying macroscopic method. The results of this research managed to find a panel with 10 rock arts of handprint variants. These results can serve as an addition to variety of rock art in East Nusa Tenggara.
