2-7 Nov 2026
Yogyakarta
Information for All Delegates
Online registration is required for all participants, and we encourage everyone to do so before they arrive at the venue.
Payments can be made online via the IPPA-ANU payment portal. Please note that the system only accepts payments in Australian Dollars so depending on your card, international transfer fees and other bank charges may apply.
If you are uncertain of whether you are classified as Rate A or Rate B please refer to the IPPA23 Registration page or email secgen@ippasecretariat.org.
If you would like to help support those members of the IPPA community who are struggling to find the funds to attend the conference, please consider a donation. The payment portal allows you to opt to donate $10, $20, $50, or $100 AUD. Every little counts and we appreciate your support.
Once you have successfully completed payment, please fill out the DELEGATE REGISTRATION form and attach your payment confirmation. For students, please upload your proof of enrolment with your payment receipt.
Changes and cancellations can be made by filling out a new DELEGATE REGISTRATION form or by emailing the IPPA Secretariat on or before the 15th of October 2026.
Upon your arrival at the venue, please claim your conference kit and badge. Your name badge is your official conference pass and must be worn at all sessions, tours and other social events.
Presenters must follow the format and time limits specified by session convenors. All oral presentations are expected to be delivered in person. There is no option for an online or hybrid session.
Submit final presentation files to the session convenors in advance. It is the convenors' responsibility to ensure that all presentations are ready and available on the day of the conference.
Poster presenters should follow the poster dimensions and mounting instructions provided in the poster guidelines.
Delegates are responsible for arranging travel to and from Yogyakarta and for securing any required visas. Check your visa requirements for your nationality well in advance.
IPPA is a community committed to accessibility and inclusive participation. If you require mobility assistance, sign language interpretation, dietary accommodations, or other support, please indicate your needs during registration or contact the IPPA Secretariat as soon as possible.
We encourage respectful engagement with indigenous peoples, local communities, and cultural sites. Please do not hesitate to contact our local organising committee for any information or guidance on culturally appropriate behaviour and permissions for site visits.
Delegates must follow local public health guidance and any venue-specific safety protocols. If you have health concerns or require medical assistance during the conference, contact onsite staff immediately.
Travel insurance that covers medical treatment, evacuation, and trip interruption is strongly recommended.
All delegates are expected to uphold a friendly, yet professional and respectful environment. The IPPA23 conference team will address any reports of misconduct confidentially and promptly.
A list of recommended hotels are available in the Travel & Accommodation section. Book early to secure the best rates and preferred options.
Yogyakarta has a variety of local transportation options. The city is relatively small and easy to navigate using Gojek or Grab. Taking the bus is also an option. However, the two bus terminals - Jombor and Giwangan - have limited route options with unpredictable schedules.
Another city bus network is the TransJogja bus system which has a more detailed schedule and bus route through its downloadable phone application.
Yogyakarta also has a train station, the Lempuyangan railway station, which is located in the city center.

Kids Club will not take any pictures, group or solo, during the sessions unless consented and/or requested by the parents.
For documentation purposes, we will only take pictures during the culminating program held at the last session (November 7, 3PM-4:30PM). We are planning a short closing program for our IPPA Kids Club members.
Please list your child’s name even if you are still unsure whether your child will attend – this helps us in planning and preparation of materials and facilities.
Please make sure that we can contact you at any time while your child is with us.
A parent or guardian must sign children in and out of the Kids Club each session. We will not release children without parents or guardian, not even to fellow participants.
Label all items left with your child to avoid being misplaced and for easier identification.
We encourage parents to pack extra clothes, especially for the younger kids.
If your child is sick or showing symptoms of illness, please keep them with you for the day to ensure the wellbeing of the other children and staff in the Kids Club. Kids Club will endorse your child back during morning break should they show signs of sickness during the session.
We will offer fruit snacks and water.
We encourage parents to provide additional snacks and/or drinks, especially for kids with allergies, or dietary preferences.
We aim to be nut-aware, so please avoid packing snacks containing common allergens.
