This research aims to provide the latest information regarding folded burial data in one of the Wallacea regions, namely Sulawesi. Based on research results, it is known that the folded burial model, which developed in Southeast Asia and is evenly distributed throughout the archipelago, is also found in Sulawesi. This cultural development occurred during the Holocene period until the arrival of the wave Austronesian migration. Cappa Lombo site with variability in archaeological findings data with characteristic attributes provides data regarding folded burial characteristics and human morphology prehistory in this region. In this site, 7 (seven) human skeletons of various models were found, individual age, burial position and the context of the period of residence vary. Results of the dates at this site indicate the period 7,580-7,470 cal.BP., as well as being the oldest evidence of the presence of a folded burial model in Sulawesi. Research related to human skeletal findings has been carried out, but until now there has not been a thorough identification based on context findings of skeletons and sedimentary matrices from sites or locations where prehistoric human skeletons were found. The implications of this research will present a new interpretation regarding the role of Sulawesi which can be submitted as comparative data for middle Holocene burial models in Inner Sulawesi Southeast Asian context.
