Please see invitation below for the 11th KAPI Conference in the Philippines.
Greetings from Katipunan Arkeologists ng Pilipinas, Inc. (Society of Philippine Archaeologists), Bahay Saliksikan, Bulacan State University and the City of Malolos!
The 11th KAPI Conference will be held on December 8, 2018 (Saturday), at Bahay na Tisa, Malolos, Bulacan. This conference aims to gather archaeologists, related researchers, and cultural workers to disseminate and update the community in their research findings, build networks and linkages, and discuss issues on the country's archaeological heritage.
With the theme: "Peoples, Things, and Cultures: Papers on Integration in Philippine Archaeology", papers and posters that contribute to the conference abstract are welcome.
Abstract."The study of archaeology has always been open to various techniques, methods and interpretation. This method encourages researches to assess various avenues in tackling the past, while also addressing current issues in society and community. In this 11th KAPI Conference, we are inviting academics, cultural workers, and students to present papers on their perspectives regarding integration (whether in terms of interpretations, methods, practices, community approach, among others) in Philippine archaeology."
You can submit your abstract by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org the title and abstract of no more than 300 words. Papers may be presented in either Filipino or English. Deadline for abstract will be on November 5, 2018 (Monday).

This pre-registration form will help us organize the logistics of the venue in Bahay na Tisa, Bulacan, and will also help us in organizing the transportation from UP Diliman to the venue.
